My coaching practice is underpinned by a strong belief that everyone has within themselves the potential for growth and change. In a rapidly changing world this ability is often challenged. I will work in partnership with each client helping them to understand values and beliefs, unblocking thinking and maximising opportunities for personal and professional development. In addition to offering personal coaching to individuals I also work with organisations. By increasing awareness of internal or external barriers and strengths and resources associated with achieving aims; I endeavour to help the client to make desired changes and to develop the necessary strategies to achieve their objectives. Coaching can enhance self - understanding, understanding of relationships, the workplace and cultural environments.​  

Common topics are time -management, work/life balance, career change and progression, enhancing interpersonal skills or executive presence, managing, motivating or influencing people and understanding role relationships. 

My coaching approach is integrative and is influenced by a Systems- Psychodynamic model, which recognises that an individual's difficulties don't occur in isolation and therefore the importance of understanding their organisational context, industry and cultural environment.

Executive coaching can help individuals to clarify their values and goals, understand the change process and its implications for their organization as well as for their personal lives. It encourages clients to identify the assumptions and beliefs which are unhelpful in the pursuit of success and to establish new, more adaptive beliefs and strategies, improve their working relationships and have a clearer understanding of their role and responsibilities.

I'm a fully qualified professional Coach having gained a Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring with the ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management). As a member of the ILM and the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) Coaching Division and Workplace Division my practice is governed by robust professional ethics and codes of practice.​
