About me

In 2004, while working in IT, I became a helpline volunteer for Childline Scotland. I was struck by the courage of children and young people in the face of often significant difficulties. I realised how beneficial support was for people in need and began an exciting and at times challenging journey of becoming a counsellor, psychotherapist, coach and clinical supervisor. Over many years my belief in the resilience of the human spirit and the effectiveness of support has been strengthened by experience. I've felt privileged to hear incredible stories and in helping others I also have benefitted from learning about myself.
